Nathan is twelve-year-old seventh grader who is captain of the football and basketball teams. Nathan has a small group of five other boys who have been friends since Kindergarten. While Nathan rarely earns As in his classes, he has a solid B. Nathan is comfortable asking questions when he does not understand a concept, however his first priority is athletics. Nathan does what needs to be done but does not self initiate enrichment activities. Nathan is more interested in a subject if it can be related to sports. Nathan is courteous and does not demand attention from his teachers. Several days can pass before he has a substantial interaction with his teachers.
